Michael
L. Tiner - Managing Director |
|
Prior
to joining Tanglewood in 1995, Mr. Tiner was President and Chief Executive
Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of Moorco International Inc.
During his 17-year career with Moorco and prior to becoming CEO in 1993,
Mr. Tiner served in a variety of senior operating assignments at Moorco and its
affiliated companies in both the United States and abroad.
These included Vice President - Sales and Marketing of Crosby Valve and
Gage Company (1984-88) and President of Smith Meter Inc. (1988-92).
Crosby Valve and Smith Meter were the principal subsidiaries of Moorco.
Mr. Tiner has extensive operating management and acquisition experience
in manufacturing companies both domestically and internationally.
Mr.
Tiner graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science Degree
in Chemical Engineering and received an MBA from the Harvard University Graduate
School of Business Administration.

James
J. Nelson - Managing Director |
|
Prior
to joining Tanglewood in 1995, Mr. Nelson spent seven years as Vice President
and General Counsel of Moorco International Inc.
While at Moorco, Mr. Nelson's primary responsibility was legal affairs,
corporate finance, investor relations and risk management matters. Prior to joining Moorco in 1988, Mr. Nelson held senior
executive positions with two other major public corporations and a financial
institution while serving as General Counsel and heading the legal departments
of each (LTV Ling Altec 1973-77, Geosource Inc. 1980-86 and Sunbelt F.S.B.
1987-88). Mr. Nelson was also a founder of and a partner in the law firm of Ave
& Nelson (1977-80). Mr. Nelson
has extensive experience in legal and financial matters related to the
acquisition and sale of both public and private companies.
Mr.
Nelson holds a Bachelor of Philosophy Degree in Natural Sciences from the
University of North Dakota and a J.D. from Southern Methodist University School
of Law.

Michael
E. Humphrey - Managing Director |
|
Prior
to joining Tanglewood in 1997, Mr. Humphrey led the acquisition and private
equity investment activities for Yellowstone Capital and its predecessors for
seven years. During his tenure, Mr.
Humphrey led the turnaround and subsequent development of Utopia Spring Water,
which was sold to the Perrier Group in 1993.
His other investment activities include investments in food processing,
pre-engineered metal building manufacturing, and through Yellowstone Trading,
contract manufacturing of finished garments in Latin America for Calvin Klein.
Prior to joining Yellowstone, Mr. Humphrey was a Managing Director in the
investment banking group of Smith Barney. During
his eight years with the firm, he advised numerous clients on mergers and
acquisitions as well as equity and debt financings.
Mr.
Humphrey graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science
Degree in Civil Engineering and received an MBA from the Harvard University
Graduate School of Business Administration.

Sam
Grover - Vice President |
|
Prior
to joining Tanglewood in 2000, Mr. Grover spent 12 years as Controller, Chief
Financial Officer, Vice President and President of several dynamic corporations
in the Houston area including Logic Sciences, Agar Corporation and Pace
Concrete. Mr. Grover spent his early career with Andersen Consulting and Sonat
Offshore Drilling designing and implementing computer applications, financial
systems and controls and with a local CPA firm where he was a Manager of
Taxation.
Mr.
Grover graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science Degree
in Finance, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management, and a Masters Degree in
Business Administration.
